Commercial Finance Business Partner - Bristol

Large asset management company with extensive operations across the UK has a newly created opening for a Commercial Finance Business Partner.  Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you will analyse financial performance against plan, connecting variances and providing reasoning to management  and be surrounded by like-minded high calibre commercial finance and pricing professionals.

Role

Working as part of a high performing commercial finance team, you will provide financial, strategic and commercial support to create and deliver strategies and plans to drive profitable growth.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Driving the forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes for multiple cost centres
• Providing analysis on strategic initiatives and report trends in periodic board papers, highlighting any risks and opportunities
• Leading financial modelling on proposals and ongoing performance monitoring
• Supporting strategic planning processes within the business units and delivery of key business projects
• Providing insight into business performance, including indicators of future performance and industry/market context
• Identifying and driving process improvements and play a key role in building out standardised reporting through BI and reporting tools
• Preparing and delivering financial analysis and relevant commentary to/ for various senior business performance conversations
• Owning, improving and providing guidance on robust financial modelling and scenario planning, using financial data to accelerate delivery of the business strategy

About You

Ideally a graduate qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA, you will be commercially inquisitive and likely have 2-4 years PQE.  Already in industry, you may be in a Finance Analyst or Management Accountant capacity and be looking to step change your finance business partnering and commercial finance activities.  Incisive in your approach you will have the communication skills, credibility and gravitas to influence throughout a complex and diverse business and be capable of highlighting cost savings and driving profit to the bottom line.  Benefits include Bonus, Pension, Healthcare & Gym Membership.
