Commercial Finance Analyst - Bristol

The Company
A dynamic and ambitious Bristol-based service provider is looking to appoint a high-potential newly or recently qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA professional into a Commercial Finance Analyst role. This is a fantastic opportunity to take an active role in business transformation and change initiatives, while shaping how the supply chain drives commercial and strategic decision-making.

The Role
As part of a high-performing FP&A team, you will report to the FP&A Manager and play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. You’ll also oversee month-end activities and provide data-driven insights to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Analysing and challenging financial performance against key targets
• Translating large data sets into actionable insights for decision-making
• Presenting financial updates to the Group Executive and senior leadership
• Conducting performance reviews, with a focus on sales, margins, and ROI
• Supporting financial evaluations for new initiatives, business ventures, and capital investments

About You
You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with post-qualification experience in FP&A and business partnering. You’ll bring:

• Strong commercial acumen and investment appraisal skills
• Advanced financial modelling capabilities
• The ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for driving change and improving decision-making
