Simon Sinek's book "Start with Why" is definately worth a read, detailing his golden circle concept. There has been a genuine shift to talent wanting to join a community as much as a company. Connecting people to purpose starts regularly showing people how their work matters - it is essential therefore for employers to help people tie their everyday tasks to a bigger purpose worth committing to.
